ADSL2011 workshop

As every year, the School of Architecture and Design of Antwerp (B) arranges an International Workshop Week in its premisis.

The ADSL2011 theme is CONGRUENCE

The workshop period is 07-11FEB2011:

registration fee 200,00 euros (including food & accomodation) while transportation to/from Antwerp is on partecipants own expences.

Remember to attach a PDF file [max 4MB] with samples of you design skills: we are interetsed to check what you are able to do both by hand (maquettes, collages, etc.) or with the computer (ability in editing representations by any sofware).

MIAW2010 on ‘Abitare-web’

We are pleased to inform all miawers (students, guests & promoters) MIAW2010 workshop has been posted on the ‘Abitare-web‘ magazine. There is a presentation of all workshop teams and of the work produced.

Certificate of attendance

Every Monday from 2 p.m to 5 p.m you can come to the office of Vice Presidenza to withdraw the certificate of attendance and then proceed to the recognition of credits.

Disassembly of exhibition Miaw

All workshop participants are invited October 14, 2010, from 9:00 am to participate in the dismantling of exhibition Miaw.

After that date, every Monday from 2  p.m to 5  p.m you can come to the office of  Vice Presidenza to withdraw the certificate of attendance and then proceed to the recognition of credits.

miaw2010: day six/presentations

On Saturady 101002, finally, there has been the presentation of the work produced by the 8 teams (ca. 140 students) and the opening of MIAW2010 exhibition. In front of a room filled as never seen before (more than 250 people attending), MIAW2010 arrived at the last day of workshop. The exhibition, in Spazio Mostre, will last untill 101014.

We must underline once again the warm and friendly atmosphere created during these 6 intensive days of work among all partecipants and also with the faculty (Architettura e Società) Staff members. Let’s mention some of them: Efisia Cipolloni (coordination), Lucia Serra (administration), Saverio Spadafora (modell lab), Lorella Errico/Benito Lamedica (logistics), Rolando from the video & tech support team, the Centro Stampa and, last but not least, the ‘portineria of via Ampére’.
